Our Mission

OneWorld Rowing serves as the booster club for those without a booster club.  OneWorld identifies U.S. rowers and coaches who are going the furthest in their competitive journey with the least access to the sport's existing resources, and we support them by providing:

· annual financial grants to host organizations that expand opportunities for more rowers to train and race at the national and international level

· advocacy & education and pro bono assistance connecting rowers with wellness & performance experts in physical therapy, sport psychology, and nutrition

Our Vision

OneWorld Rowing defines success as a broad community of healthy, well-prepared athletes competing at championship regattas every year.

We are not here as an occasional, last-minute attempt to calculate odds of a medal, pick a winner, or christen a boat.  OneWorld is here as an annual resource to help more rowers, from more backgrounds, in more boat categories, reach the start line at the highest level of racing for which their physical conditioning, technical skills, and mental resilience have prepared them.

U.S. Athletes at World Championships

"OneWorld Rowing has the potential to help athletes from a wider spectrum of college programs pursue the sport to its highest levels by supporting collegiate club crews and supporting the high performance training opportunities available post-college."

- Shaw Newman, University of Michigan '18 Men's Club Crew Coxswain & Treasurer
"The ACRA Championships has developed many athletes to continue into high performance rowing, and onto the international stage at the World Championships and Olympic Games. Our partnership with OneWorld Rowing will play a great role in continuing that developmental pathway for our athletes from competitive collegiate experience into high performance. We look forward to this ongoing partnership in the future, for the betterment of the sport of Rowing - and the enhanced experience and opportunity of the ACRA athlete."

- Cam Brown, Orange Coast College Men's Rowing Head Coach and ACRA President
"The Advanced Rowing Initiative of the Northeast (ARION) is a program dedicated to creating a pathway for athletes to pursue international rowing at an elite level. To that end, we are grateful for OneWorld Rowing and their dedication to the same. Because training at an elite level is not a revenue generating activity, organizations like OneWorld are critical to this process."

- Eric Catalano, ARION Head Coach
"We are excited and grateful to have the support of OneWorld Rowing. Their mission is one I hope all rowers can get behind, as it supports our sport at the grass roots level. Thanks to Chris and his organization for spearheading an important push to grow our sport."

- Gregg Hartsuff, University of Michigan Men's Rowing Head Coach and ACRA Secretary
"The Craftsbury Green Racing Project (GRP) is one way to bridge the gap between post-collegiate rowing and international success in the sport of rowing. We're excited about the development of OneWorld Rowing since it will work to increase the opportunities for those looking to row beyond college. We hope to see more athletes take on the rewarding challenge of betterment through sport and to create a more collaborative community of high-achieving clubs in the United States."

- Steve Hap Whelpley, Craftsbury GRP Head Coach
"RBC is proud to partner with OneWorld Rowing to help support and develop elite rowers as they pursue the highest goals this sport offers. At RBC, we know that supporting High Performance athletes takes a community. We couldn't be more honored to have found an organization in OneWorld with matching ambitions and goals to help us support our High Performance Group. OneWorld Rowing's work is critical to expanding the success of elite rowers at RBC and throughout the country."

- Mark Grinberg, former RBC High Performance Head Coach
"Thanks to OneWorld Rowing for all of the work you've been doing to highlight the gaps and prompt change."

- Cara Stawicki, National Team 2017 & 2019 World Champion LW2-
"A big thank you to OneWorld Rowing for helping me and so many others chase our dreams."
